Paulina in Spain

While her ex band members from group Timbiriche reunite to do a Reality TV show and a tour of concerts to celebrate the 25 years of their creation, Mexican singer Paulina Rubio decided NOT to be a part of this reunion and do her own tour to promote her own album. Good for her!

David and Victoria... W Magazine

I know you have seen this pictures all over the place, but I like them so much that I thought... what the hell. They are part of the W Magazine August issue.

Dan Wheldon... hot!

Indy race car driver Dan Wheldon looked pretty good at the 15th annual ESPY Awards last night. I had the chance to meet him last year and he is the nicest guy you can imagine.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The 5th movie of the Harry Potter series is a very well created movie. Director David Yates brought the best of each every one of the cast members of this movie. Interesting enough, this is a cast full of big names and big talents, but they surrender their fame in order to have the story shine. That way we see Emma Thompson, Ralph Fiennes, Gary Oldman, Helena Bonham Carter, Imelda Stauton, Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, Richard Griffiths and Michael Gambon work together in the same movie without really seeing the actors but the characters, and that is hard to accomplish.
This new movie is very well adapted from the book and although there are some things that were not included on the movie, the final product is almost perfect, entertaining, with lost of action, a little romance and a battle between Dumbledore and Lord Voldemort that is outstanding.

Can't wait for the final book and the 6th movie which will also be directed by Yates.

Forza Italia!

Nice picture taken from Outsports

Not too soon for this

I wonder how he will look in a few more years... he is a hunk already! This picture is from the Details magazine from August.

Isn't it too soon?

Call me crazy but I just believe that this is kind of too soon. No doubt the three of them are world wide popular but isn't this kind of a recognition to actors and actresses with a long and outstanding career?
And don't get me wrong, I love the HarryPotter movies and I think that Daniel, Rupert and Emma are very talented, but I just really believe that they do not have the acting background to have this honor.

Monday's Crush - Daniel Guzman

Since I started watching “Aqui no hay quien viva”, a Spanish TV show that is already over in Spain, I fell in love with actor Daniel Guzman. He is a very talented young actor and director and he actually showed his butt a couple of times on the show.

5 interesting things about Daniel Guzman

1* He was born September 21, 1973
2* He used to graffiti on the streets of Madrid
3* He tried out to be a firefighter
4* He has directed a short film and a feature film
5* He is a die hard motorcycle fan

The Music Man - The Theatre in the Park

Last night I went to see Meredith Willson's "The Music Man" at The Theatre in the Park, one of the things that I like about this great organization is that they do an excellent job with their productions. The show was outstanding, regardless of some technical difficulties the cast did an excellent job. Director Tammy Ruder had Jon Daugharthy and Martha Jensen as her leads, but the cast was filled of talented people, like Derek Kreifels, David Van Leeuwen, Chip Bucker and Michael Murphy as a perfectly harmonious quartet.
What i have forgotten to mention about this musical is although some of the cast members have some theatre experience they are not professional actors, but community members that audition to get their parts.
Congratulations to all!

My Rafa lost!

Roger Federer of Switzerland defeated my adored Rafael Nadal during the final of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. I have to say that as much as I love Rafa, I do think that Roger is very cute as well.
